Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes what personal data the Vse Dobre app collects, how we use, store, and protect it. Vse Dobre is a service for quickly letting your family know you're safe — especially during air-raid alerts — and for staying in daily touch with them.
1. Who's responsible for your data
The developer of Vse Dobre acts as the data controller. For any privacy questions, contact support@vsedobre.in.ua. By using the app, you agree to this Policy.
2. What data we collect
We only collect what the app needs to work.
Account data:
- Email address or phone number — for sign-in and identification
- Google sign-in: if you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile photo (if your Google account has one) to set up your profile
- The name or nickname you provide
- A unique user code, generated automatically
- Profile photo — optional, stored on our servers and visible to users you've confirmed a connection with
Safety status data:
- Your current status: "All good," "Need help," or "SOS"
- Optional text notes you add to your status
- The time your status was last updated
Private messages ("Private"):
- Short personal messages you exchange with a specific contact
- ⚠️ These messages are not protected by end-to-end encryption — they're stored on our servers in a form technically accessible to service administrators in exceptional cases (for example, a legal request or fixing a technical issue). We don't read message content during normal operation
- Don't send passwords, card numbers, or other highly sensitive data through "Private"
Personal notes about contacts:
- Contact category (e.g. "Family," "Friends"), your own nickname for a contact
- A phone number you set for a contact yourself (may differ from what the contact set in their own profile)
- A "trusted contact" flag and per-contact notification settings
- Only you see this data — it doesn't affect the contact's own profile and isn't visible to them
Location data:
- Your location — only when you send a status with location, an SOS signal, or use the SMS fallback
- The name of your city, for display purposes
- We don't track your location continuously in the background
Contacts data:
- When you search for people through your phone's contact book, numbers are checked against our database to find matches
- We don't store your phone's contact book on our servers — matching happens at the moment of the search
- We store the connections between you and the people you've added, once mutually confirmed
Usage data (analytics):
- We collect anonymized usage statistics: active user counts, number of statuses sent by category (no text), sign-ups, feature usage
- This analytics data never includes the text of your statuses or messages, and isn't tied to an individual person in the reports we review
- Used solely to understand how to improve the app
Voluntary support data:
- If you set up voluntary monthly support via Stripe, we receive a technical payment identifier from Stripe (not your card number — only Stripe sees that)
- If you appear publicly on the supporters list, you choose how: anonymously, under your real name, or a nickname — that choice is visible to all app users
Technical data: a push-notification delivery token, plus your app and OS version (for debugging).
3. How we use your data
Solely to run the app:
- Showing your status to your family, and theirs to you
- Sending notifications when your family's status changes
- Delivering SOS signals along with your location to confirmed contacts, including the SMS fallback channel when there's no internet
- Finding your family among app users
- Showing air-raid alert data for your region (see section 5)
- Processing voluntary support
- Responding to your support requests
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell it to third parties.
The call, SMS, and email buttons on a contact's card open your device's default apps (Phone, Messages, Mail) — these actions never go through our servers.
4. Who sees your data
- Your status, city, location, and profile photo are visible only to users you've added who've confirmed the connection
- No other user sees your data without a mutual contact confirmation
- Your public supporter nickname (if you chose not to appear anonymously) is visible to all app users
- You can remove a contact at any time — after that, they no longer see your status
- Because private messages ("Private") aren't end-to-end encrypted, service administrators technically have the ability to access their content at the database level — this access is used only in exceptional cases, not for routine review
5. Sharing data with third parties
We use the following third-party services to run the app:
- Supabase — database and authentication, servers in the EU
- Resend — sending emails
- Apple (APNs) and Google (Firebase) — push notification delivery
- Google — sign-in, maps
- Stripe — processing voluntary monthly support
- Third-party air-raid alert data sources (including neptun, ubilling, and similar providers) — to show up-to-date alert information for your region
These services process data under their own privacy policies.
6. Storage and protection
- Data is stored on secured servers in the EU region, including database backups
- We use connection encryption (TLS) and database-level access policies
- Private messages ("Private") are stored without end-to-end encryption — see section 2
- Data is retained for as long as your account exists, plus the backup retention period after account deletion
7. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, correct it, delete your account and associated data (via Profile → Delete Account, or by writing to us), and withdraw consent for location processing by disabling the relevant permissions. To exercise these rights, contact support@vsedobre.in.ua.
8. Children's data
The app isn't intended for anyone under 16 without parental consent.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy. We'll notify you in the app about significant changes. The last-updated date is shown at the top.
